Presenting the Remhoogte Vantage Pinotage, this wine boasts an inviting intense ruby color that captures light with a captivating brilliance. Die Trauben wurden von Hand gelesen und bei Ankunft im Kellereibetrieb mit großer Sorgfalt sortiert. Der Großteil des Weins wurde spontan in 7000-Liter-Französischen Eichenholzfässern vergoren. 30% der Stiele wurden wieder den Fässer beigefügt. Dieser Anteil verbrachte 14 Tage auf den Schalen, bevor er abgelassen wurde. Ein kleiner Bestandteil (15% im Endwein) wurde mittels Kohlensäuremaischung vergoren, was eine schöne Frische mit sich bringt und die Frucht im Wein hervorhebt. Die Reifung erfolgte für 18 Monate in 225-Liter-Fässern aus französischem Eichenholz. 30% neues Eichenholz wurde verwendet, der Rest bestand aus zweit- und drittbefüllten Fässern. Der Wein wurde dann in einen großen Betontank umgefüllt, wo er sechs Monate lang ruhte, bevor er abgefüllt wurde. Ungeklärt und unfiltriert.
