This classic wine, Remhoogte Sir Thomas Cullinan, is produced in the Bordeaux style with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. It exhibits captivating aromas of blackcurrants, mulberries, ripe plums, sage, and cedarwood. These deep fruit notes are mirrored in its vibrant ruby hue as it fills the glass.
On the palate, sweet fruits, black cherries, plums, and fruitcake are complemented by spicy hints of olives and black pepper, guided by broad, refined tannins and a medium acidity that leads to a long finish.
Die Trauben werden von Hand geerntet und in der Kellerei zweimal sortiert. Einmal als Trauben auf einem Förderband und dann als Trauben auf einem vibrierenden Sortiertisch.
Die Gärung erfolgt dann spontan in offenen 500-Liter-Fässern aus französischer Eiche. Regelmäßige 'punch downs' sorgen für eine optimale Extraktion. Die malolaktische Gärung findet in 225-Liter-Fässern aus französischer Eiche statt, bevor der Wein 24 Monate lang in denselben Fässern reift. Es werden 50 % neue Eichenfässer verwendet und die restlichen 50 % in Fässern mit zweiter Befüllung.

Einer unserer Lieblingsweine zu besonderen Anlässen. Sehr guter Bordeaux Style Blend.
Lieblingswein von uns für besondere Anlässe. Erfüllt alles, was wir von einem sehr guten Bordeaux Blend erwarten. Passt gut zu allen Fleischgerichten, aber auch zu Pasta. Wir freuen uns, dass dieses Weingut jetzt auch bei Curry Wines im Sortiment aufgenommen wurde. Als wir im November 2023 im Weingut zum tasting waren, kamen wir ins Gespräch, und wurden gefragt, wo wir gerne bestellen. Wir haben Curry Wines gerne empfohlen.
