Die Trauben für den Rall Cinsault stammen aus einer Kombination von alten Rebstöcken aus Darling an der Westküste, die 1982 gepflanzt wurden (Gärung in Betonbehältern unter Verwendung einer untergetauchten Kappe), und einem Weinberg auf dem Paardeberg (halbkarbonische Gärung). Die Gärung erfolgt auf natürliche Weise unter Verwendung von 100 % ganzen Trauben, bevor der Wein acht Monate lang in 3000-Liter-Foudres und älteren kleinen französischen Eichenfässern für die Swartland-Komponente reift.
