The Raka Spliced 2023 reveals itself as a wonderfully approachable red wine blend, promising effortless enjoyment. Following careful selection of grapes in the vineyard, a secondary sorting occurred in the winery before the fruit was inoculated with selected yeast cultures. Fermentation commenced, after which the wine was racked off the primary lees into a rest tank. Malolactic fermentation and a short maturation period followed in a combination of 225L French oak barrels (25% new wood).
