The Raka Biography Shiraz presents itself with a deep violet-red color and an incredibly enticing bouquet of herbs and spices, with deliciously juicy notes of red cherries and blue fruits. This aromatic complexity continues on the sleek and full-bodied palate, enhanced by flavors of smoked meat, leather, and chocolate-mocha nuances. A wine of great structure, it boasts a full body with a well-regulated harmony between tannins and acidity. The finish is strikingly elegant, smoky, and lingering, leaving a warm and delightful aftertaste of red plum.
Bevor die Hefekulturen der Maische zugesetzt wurden, wurde das Traubengut zweimal mit großer Sorgfalt sortiert. Der Saft wurde fünf Tage lang drei bis fünf Mal umgewälzt und nach der ersten Gärung in einen Ruhetank gefüllt. Die malolaktische Fermentierung fand in französischer und amerikanischer Eiche statt. Anschließend reifte der Wein 12 Monate lang in französischen Barriques (25% Neuholz).
