The Protea Shiraz captivates with enticing aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, and delicate pepper notes, enhanced by a touch of violets. This complex bouquet carries over to the palate, where flavors of dark fruits, raspberries, and dried herbs converge beautifully. Its pleasing drinkability is marked by a soft texture and medium body, making it a delightful companion for various occasions.
Die Trauben wurden von Hand geerntet, entrappt, gequetscht und schließlich in 10 000 Liter Edelstahltanks mit Eichenstaven gefüllt. Die Gärung erfolgte 15 Tage lang bei 26°C auf der Haut. Der frei ablaufende und der von der Haut gepreßte Saft reiften separat und wurden nach acht Monaten verschnitten.
