Information about "Lemberg Louis Red Blend 2022"
The Lemberg Louis Red Blend harmoniously combines classic Mediterranean varietals from Southern France. With its intense dark color, it seduces with aromas of juicy blueberries and freshly cracked green and black pepper. A fascinating interplay of warm spices and delicate meaty notes unfolds on the palate, complementing the complex nuances of ripe berry fruits. Subtle oak aromas add depth to this cuvée. The finish is elegant, lingering, and smooth.
The grapes for this exquisite blend were handpicked in the cool morning hours and meticulously sorted. Grenache underwent a 48-hour cold soak before natural fermentation commenced, while Syrah, Mourvedre, and Carignan fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. Post-fermentation, the Syrah and Mourvedre rested an additional two weeks on the skins. All wines matured for ten months in a mixture of 225L, 300L, and 500L French oak barrels, with only the finest lots being blended for this exceptional cuvée.
