Produced from organically grown grapes in low-yield vineyards, this selection benefits from the eco-friendly assistance of around 3,000 ladybugs, thriving in Stellenbosch's pioneering organic vineyard.
Das Traubengut für den Laibach Ladybird Red wurde handverlesen und komplett entrappt. Ohne den Zusatz kultivierter Hefekulturen, sondern ausschließlich durch natürlich wild vorkommende Hefe, wurden die Trauben spontan bei warmen Temperaturen in offenen 4.5 Tonnen fassenden Tanks vergoren. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein 12-14 Monate lang in kleinen Fässern aus französischer Eiche.
