Information about "La Petite Ferme Variation 2020"
The La Petite Ferme Variation is an esteemed red wine blend reflecting classic Rhône elegance, enchanting with a bouquet of violet and rose blossoms. The palate reveals a seamless balance of fruit and acidity, alongside enticing notes of caramel and delicate spices. It's an approachable wine with subtle oak integration and supple tannins, making it a delightful companion. Comprised of 56% Shiraz, 12% Grenache Noir, 28% Mourvèdre, and 4% Carignan, each variety enhances its complexity and appeal.
The Shiraz undergoes a 10% whole cluster fermentation and matures in 15% new French oak for 10 months, with the remainder in older barrels. Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, and Carignan age in older French oak, preserving the fruit's integrity.
