Information about "La Petite Ferme Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2024"
The La Petite Ferme Barrel Fermented Chardonnay captivates with an alluring bouquet of fresh citrus, particularly lemons and limes, enriched by lush notes of white pear and a hint of oak spice. This Chardonnay presents a meticulously balanced and intricate profile, featuring a refreshing mineral quality alongside expressive fruit character. Sourced from a blend of 60% Franschhoek and 40% Elim grapes in Cape Agulhas, it seamlessly combines the richness of Franschhoek fruits with the vibrant minerality and crispness from Elim.
This Chardonnay matured for nine months in first, second, and third-fill French oak barrels, with regular stirring (batonnage) during the initial three-month period to enhance its complexity and fullness.
