This Chardonnay presents a meticulously balanced and intricate profile, featuring a refreshing mineral quality alongside expressive fruit character. Sourced from a blend of 60% Franschhoek and 40% Elim grapes in Cape Agulhas, it seamlessly combines the richness of Franschhoek fruits with the vibrant minerality and crispness from Elim.
Dieser Chardonnay reifte neun Monate lang in erst-, zweit- sowie drittbelegten Fässern aus französischer Eiche, wobei der Wein während der ersten drei Monate Reifezeit alle zwei Wochen aufgerührt wurde (batonnage), um so mehr an Komplexität und Fülle in den Wein zu übertragen.
