Information about "La Motte Syrah 2019"
The La Motte Syrah enchants with a classic array of red berries and black mulberries, enriched by fine hints of tobacco. This fruit-driven side is complemented by earthy-spicy notes of black pepper, olive tapenade, star anise, and well-integrated oak nuances. The velvety texture makes this highly esteemed Syrah a full-bodied and richly nuanced experience.
Die Trauben wurden reif, aber nicht zu spät gelesen, entrappt und handsortiert. Die alkoholische Gärung erfolgte in offenen Stahltanks bei kontrollierten 20° bis 24°C. Die malolaktische Gärung startete im Tank und endete in französischen 300 l Barriques, in denen der Wein für 14 Monate reifte. Vor Abfüllung auf die Flasche wurde der Wein noch mit 15% Durif verschnitten, um ein Maximum an Farbe und Struktur in den Wein zu übertragen. 30% der Fässer waren neu, der Rest zweit- und drittbefüllt.
