The La Motte Chardonnay presents a soft straw color in the glass, featuring delightful flavors of ripe nectarine paired with elegant citrus blooms. Soft hints of cashew and yeast emerge, subtly emphasizing its oak aging. With remarkable finesse and a beautifully lingering finish marked by vibrant citrus and succulent peach, this Chardonnay promises a spectacular tasting journey.
The grapes were whole-bunch pressed, with two-thirds of the juice placed in French 300L barrels. The alcoholic fermentation was conducted at controlled temperatures of 17° to 20°C, and malolactic fermentation occurred in the barrels, using only 25% new oak, with the remainder being previously used barrels. The remaining third of the juice was fermented in stainless steel, aged for an additional 11 months with regular batonnage before the final wine blend.
