The L'Avenir Single Block Pinotage 2021 enchants with a captivating aroma profile featuring fresh violets, potpourri, dried cranberry, and dark chocolate. On the palate, vibrant and rich flavors of fresh cherries shine through, accompanied by gentle spice notes and well-integrated oak. Its full-bodied structure, complemented by fine and smooth tannins, leads to a long-lasting, satisfying finish. Produced from a registered single vineyard, this wine is a true representation of Stellenbosch's unique terroir.
This esteemed Pinotage underwent fermentation at a controlled 32°C, partially in stainless steel tanks and partially in oak barrels. After completing alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French barriques, the wine aged for 18 months in first- and second-fill French oak barrels as well as in stainless steel tanks.
