Die Trauben wurden von Hand gelesen und mit großer Sorgfalt Beere für Beere sortiert, damit nur die reinsten Früchte in den weiteren Produktionsverlauf gelangen konnten. Das Traubengut wurde entrappt und je nach Terroir in Edelstahltanks und offene Lagares gepumpt, wo der Saft für eine optimale Extraktion von Farbe und Aromen regelmäßig umgepumpt wurde. Nach der primären Gärung erfolgte die drei Wochen lange Maischegärung vor dem Pressen. Anschließend reifte der Wein 20 Monate lang in Fässern aus französischer Eiche (75 % Neuholz, 25% zweit- sowie drittbelegtes Holz).
