Information about "Klein Constantia Metis Sauvignon Blanc 2022"
Bright and lively in the glass, Klein Constantia Metis Sauvignon Blanc captivates the nose with an intense bouquet of lemon verbena, sage and grapefruit. On the palate, this exceptional wine is full-bodied, well-textured and lively in character. Powerful and racy with an unmistakable minerality and delicious fruity nuances of kiwi, lime and blackcurrant. An expressive, fresh and pure Sauvignon Blanc that finishes with a long-lasting and crisp finish, providing true enjoyment.
The Metis Sauvignon Blanc was inspired by Pascal Jolivet and his holistic approach to winemaking in Sancerre. Through a unique and minimalist approach to winemaking, Klein Constantia succeeds in producing a wine that fully expresses the true character of the Constantia terroir. The name Metis refers to the collaboration between the two producers in creating this magnificent wine. This fusion of philosophies is reflected in the flower on the label, which is a blend of the South African protea and the French iris.
