With its radiant lemon-yellow hue, the Kershaw Deconstructed Kogelberg Ironstone CY548 delights the senses. Aromas of citrus oil, lime, and a hint of lemon cookies intertwine on the nose. The palate introduces a lively tension through its crisp acidity and salty-mineral texture. Mid-palate flavors reveal enticing notes of stone fruit, apricot cream, roasted almonds, and a touch of oatmeal. Selected artisan coopers from Burgundy utilized exclusively French oak for this micro-vinified batch. In 2021, 100% new 228-liter oak barrels were employed.
