Dominated by Mourvèdre's enchanting earthiness, this wine is complemented by Grenache's lively fruitiness and the spicy warmth of Shiraz. Renowned winemaker Ken Forrester is dedicated to producing remarkable Mediterranean-style blends, using the finest Cape grapes. Die Trauben für den Ken Forrester Three Halves wurden mit großer Sorgfalt und jeder Menge Expertise per Hand gelesen. Dabei wurden ausschließlich die ersten ausgereiften Beeren ausgewählt. Bei Ankunft im Keller wurde das Traubengut zunächst einer Kaltquellphase unterzogen. Der Wein reifte 18 Monate in zweitbefüllten Fässern aus französischer Eiche.
