The Jean Daneel Signature Red unveils a harmonious blend of dark and red berry aromas, a result of its meticulous composition featuring 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 18% Cabernet Franc. This wine is characterized by firm, well-structured tannins developed during four months of fermentation and maceration in 500-liter French oak barrels, which endow it with depth and finesse.
Layers of spices, pepper, mint, and subtle tobacco nuances traverse the palate, adding depth and complexity. Its robust structure and seamless integration of fruit and oak hint at remarkable aging potential, allowing for evolution over the years. Der Jean Daneel Signature Red ist ein eleganter Blend aus 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot und 18% Cabernet Franc. Der Vinifikationsprozess begann mit einer Fermentation und einer verlängerten Mazeration von 4 Monaten in 500-Liter-Fässern aus französischer Eiche, um eine optimale Extraktion von Aromen und Tanninen zu ermöglichen.
Nach der Fermentation wurden die Trauben schonend mit einer traditionellen manuellen Korbpresse gepresst, um die feine Struktur und die nuancierte Charakteristik des Weins zu bewahren. Der Wein wurde anschließend in speziell ausgewählte 225-Liter-Fässer aus französischer Eiche überführt, wo er 24 Monate lang reifte und maturierte. Bemerkenswerterweise waren 100% dieser Fässer neu, was der Cuvée zusätzliche Komplexität, feine Tannine und eine subtile Holzintegration verlieh.
Dieser sorgfältige Prozess ergab einen Wein von außergewöhnlicher Tiefe, Balance und Reifepotenzial, der die Kunstfertigkeit in jeder Flasche widerspiegelte.
