Der Jean Daneel Director's Signature Red ist ein raffinierter Blend aus 60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon und 10% Merlot. Nach der Ankunft der Trauben im Weinkeller durchliefen sie eine Fermentation und eine verlängerte Mazeration von 4 Monaten in 500-Liter-Fässern aus französischer Eiche. Dieser sorgfältige Prozess ermöglichte eine optimale Extraktion von Aromen und Tanninen und verstärkte die Komplexität des Weins.
Nach der Fermentation wurden die Trauben schonend mit einer traditionellen manuellen Korbpresse gepresst, um die Reinheit und Struktur des Weins zu bewahren. Anschließend wurde der Wein in speziell ausgewählte 225-Liter-Fässer aus französischer Eiche überführt, wo er 24 Monate lang reifte und maturierte. Bemerkenswerterweise waren 100% dieser Fässer neu, was dem Wein zusätzliche Tiefe, verfeinerte Tannine und eine elegante Integration von Holz verlieh. Das Ergebnis ist ein Wein von außergewöhnlicher Balance und Potenzial, der die Handwerkskunst hinter jeder Flasche widerspiegelt.
