Franschhoek Cellar Railroad Red 2023 is an appealing red wine blend capturing the heart of South African winemaking tradition. A harmonious mix of ripe berries and red cherries is enhanced by a hint of oak spice, presenting a wonderfully smooth tannin that rounds out the palate. Its excellent value ensures it is the perfect companion for both social gatherings and elegant dinners.
Zum Teil in geschlosenen, zum Teil in offenen Tanks vergoren, wobei der Saft regelmäßig über die Maische gepumpt wurde. Der Maischekuchen wurde regelmäßig untergetaucht, um ein Maximum an Kraft zu entziehen. Ein Teil der Cuvée wurde zehn Monate in viertbefüllten Barriques aus Frankreich und den USA gereift. Der Rest des Weins verblieb zum Erhalt seiner vordergründigen Frucht und Frische im Stahltank.
