Franschhoek Cellar Railroad Red 2023 is an appealing red wine blend capturing the heart of South African winemaking tradition. The fermentation process occurred partially in closed, partly in open tanks, with regular pumping over the must. The cap was often submerged to maximize extraction. A portion of the blend aged for ten months in fifth-fill barrels from France and the USA, while the remaining wine was kept in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant fruit and freshness.
