The Eagles' Nest Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc captivates with an opulent bouquet, revealing notes of fresh tropical fruit, gooseberry, guava, and white pear, enhanced by delightful hints of exotic passion fruit. On the palate, this harmoniously balanced white wine delights with delicious flavors of tropical fruit and succulent yellow stone fruit, supported by a fresh, lively core. An exceptionally fresh wine, it impresses with its fruit-forward character.
The grapes for this wine originate from three distinct vineyards in a cooler coastal climate, meticulously chosen to produce world-class Sauvignon Blanc. They were handpicked into small crates and transported to the Eagles' Nest winery in Constantia. A portion of the grapes was pressed whole, while the remainder was destemmed before gentle pressing. After fermentation, the components were blended and aged for three additional months in tank on the lees prior to bottling.
