The Thelema Sutherland Syrah emerges as an excellent alternative to the well-loved Thelema Shiraz. It's bouquet reveals enticing notes of juicy blackberries, cherries, and plums, enhanced by a delicate hint of black pepper. On the palate, it displays elegance and flavor, showcasing a striking structure enriched by subtle accents of cedar, graphite, and smoked meat. The lingering finish captures the spiciness of dark fruits and white pepper, embodying its coastal heritage.
Die Trauben für diesen wunderbaren Shiraz wurden per Hand gelesen, entrappt, leicht angequetscht und dann in Tanks aus Edelstahl gepumpt, wo die Maische fünf Tage verbrachte, bevor es zum Pressen weiterging. Die malolaktische Fermentation fand im Fass statt. Der Wein reifte 18 Monate lang in 30 % neuer französischer Eiche und zu 80 % in dritt- und viertbefüllten Eichenfässern.
