The Vergelegen Wild Winds Sauvignon Blanc is characterized by its bright green-yellow color, revealing lively aromas of lime blossoms, ripe gooseberries, and guava, intertwined with fresh passion fruit and pineapple. This wine showcases elegance, with an ideally balanced acidity. The grapes are sourced from the highest vineyards of the Schaapenberg and its lower slopes, oriented southward and overlooking False Bay. The famous strong winds create natural stresses in the vineyards, keeping them cool and adding a unique saline quality to the wines.
Das Traubengut stammt ausschließlich aus den eigenen Weinbergen und wurde per Hand gelesen. Nachdem sie verarbeitet wurden fand eine temperaturkontrollierte Fermentation in Stahlfässern statt, die zwei bis drei Wochen andauerte.
