The Creation Reserve Chardonnay is an exceptional single vineyard wine from the Vrede estate, situated just outside the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. This dry and well-balanced offering enchants with lively notes of grapefruit, fragrant apple, and refreshing lime, rounded out by delicate hints of honey, orange zest, and a whisper of cinnamon.
On the palate, it reveals complexity and precision. Achieving a full malolactic fermentation, along with extended aging on lees in oak, lends it a creamy mouthfeel with layers of ripe melon and buttery croissant. The subtle incorporation of 30% new oak adds a discreet toasty nuance while allowing the fruit to shine through. Freshness and mineral tension provide a compelling balance, culminating in a long and elegant finish.

Dieser Wein wird aus 100 % von Hand gelesenen Chardonnay-Trauben hergestellt und in einer Kombination aus 30 % neuen und 70 % zweitbelegten französischen Eichenfässern vergoren. Nach der Gärung reifte er für weitere 10 Monate auf der Feinhefe und durchlief dabei den vollständigen biologischen Säureabbau. Dieser sorgfältige Ausbau verleiht dem Wein seine ausgewogene Struktur, cremige Tiefe und vielschichtige Eleganz.
