On the palate, subtle hints of fine spices such as cinnamon and nuances of roasted coffee beans unfold, culminating in a lingering, pleasantly resonant finish.

Treatment in the cellar The grapes for this aromatic Pinotage were hand-picked at optimum ripeness and fermented in open fermentation tanks on the skins at a controlled temperature of 25-28°C. After fermentation, the berries were gently pressed in a traditional basket press. The wine was matured in heavily toasted French oak and 15% American oak.
