The Clos Malverne Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot presents itself as a remarkably smooth and accessible wine, charming the senses with a delightful interplay of dark berry notes and subtle herbaceous hints characteristic of Cabernet Sauvignon. Das Traubengut für diese klassische Cuvée wurde bei optimalem Reifegrad handgelesen und bei Ankunft in der Kellerei vollständig entrappt, gequetscht und sieben Tage lang bei geregelten 25-30° C in offenen Gärtanks auf der Haut vergoren. Nach Abschluss der Gärung ging es in die traditionelle Korbpresse. Der dabei frei ablaufende Saft wurde in Tanks aus Edelstahl der malolaktischen Gärung überlassen. Anschließend reifte der Wein 12 Monate lang in 225 L Fässern aus 80% französischer sowie 20% amerikanischer Eiche. Nach Abschluss der Gärung wurden Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot verschnitten und leicht verfeinert auf die Flasche gefüllt.
