The Cape Point Vineyards Reserve Sauvignon Blanc enchants with an exquisite aromatic profile that includes floral spices, cardamom, and white pepper. The fruit-forward palate reveals flavors of lemon, mandarin, and luscious nectarines, complemented by coastal hints of seaweed and a refreshing, salty breeze typical of Cape Point. Delicate notes of fragrant spring blooms and elderflower, with subtle nuances of refined oak aging, impart intriguing complexity. On the palate, it showcases rich depth and structure, enhanced by a 4% Semillon blend, leading to a distinctively prolonged and mineral finish.
Das Traubengut wurde in den frühen Morgenstunden handgelesen, am ganzen Bund gepresst und der dabei gewonnene Saft nach einer zwölfstündigen Ruhephase im Fass vinifiziert. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein 16 Monate lang in alter französischer Eiche auf der feinen Hefe, wobei die Hefe für ein optimales Mundgefühl regelmäßig auf- und untergerührt wurde.
