Produced by the distinguished Riandri Visser, this highly regarded Sauvignon Blanc incorporates 2% Sémillon from six different vineyard parcels on the Cape Point estate, resulting in an exceptionally taut, clear, and linear style. It showcases aromas of herby fynbos vegetation and fresh sea breeze, merging beautifully with a remarkable focus and a hint of yeasty weight.
Das handgelesene Traubengut wurde am ganzen Bund gepresst und der dabei gewonnene Saft nach einer zwölfstündigen Ruhephase bei einer Temperatur von 16 – 20 °C in Tanks aus Edelstahl (97 %) sowie im Fass (3 %) vergoren. Nach Abschluss der Fermentierung reifte der Wein noch acht Monate auf der Hefe, bevor die Komponenten mit einem Schuss Semillon (2%) verschnitten wurden.
