The Buitenverwachting Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay unveils a pale lemon hue, captivating the senses with a bouquet of ripe figs and touches of gooseberry. The Chardonnay component contributes invigorating citrus notes alongside breadth and texture, while the prominent Sauvignon Blanc brings forth a medley of tropical freshness with hints of passion fruit and subtle blackcurrant. The wine is rich and full-bodied, featuring a lingering finish and delightful freshness, making it a versatile companion for culinary pairings.
Das Traubengut für diese durch und durch gelungene Weißwein-Cuvée wurde teilweise am ganzen Bund gepresst und verblieb anschließend noch zwölf Stunden auf der Haut (Schalenkontakt). Für die Gärung kamen fünf speziell ausgewählte Hefekulturen zum Einsatz. Die Fermentierung fand temperaturgeregelt bei 12°C -16°C statt und dauerte 21 Tage lang an. Anschließend wurden der Sauvignon Blanc (85 %) und der Anteil von Chardonnay (15 %) verschnitten und auf die Flasche gefüllt.
