The Buitenverwachting Hussey's Vlei Sauvignon Blanc dazzles with its light lemon-yellow color. This wine presents a sophisticated bouquet of tropical fruit alongside herbal notes. Its dry and full-bodied nature offers a long-lasting, enjoyable finish, reflecting the character of its terroir. Grown in the coolest and southernmost vineyard of Buitenverwachting, dubbed Hussey's Vlei, it boasts a distinctive green profile characterized by green bell pepper and herbal intensity.
The grapes were partially pressed whole and underwent 12 hours of skin contact. The juice then fermented for 21 days with five different yeast types at a controlled temperature of 12°-16°C.
