The Boschkloof Cabernet Sauvignon captivates with classic aromas of cedar and pencil shavings. Its striking, dark ruby hue nearly borders on black, revealing ripe plums and well-integrated oak spice. The palate is full-bodied, demonstrating a firm structure that is both smooth and refreshingly vibrant.
Die Trauben für den Boschkloof Cabernet Sauvginon stammen aus einem 24 Jahre alten Weinberg. Die Trauben wurden bei voller Reife mit einem Ertrag von 5 Tonnen pro Hektar geerntet. Die Gärung – teils spontan, teils mit Reinzuchthefen – erfolgte bei 26 °C mit zwei täglichen Überpumpungen. Nach der alkoholischen Gärung verblieben die Trauben 14 Tage auf der Maische. Der Ausbau erfolgte über 14 Monate in 225-Liter-Fässern aus französischer Eiche.
