Presenting the Boschendal Suzanne, a luxurious white blend honoring Suzanne de Lanoy, the spouse of Boschendal's Huguenot founder, Nicolas de Lanoy. This blend features 56% Semillon and 44% Sauvignon Blanc, revealing a luminous straw color with a sparkling green edge. Enticing notes of white nectarine, lime, and green fig jam are elegantly complemented by subtle oak hints. A whisper of mineral crispness adds intrigue to the overall palate. This stunning confluence of flavors exemplifies the exquisite craftsmanship of Boschendal!
Die Trauben werden kalt gelagert und in 500-Liter-Eichenfässern vergoren. Nach der Gärung erfolgt eine 11-monatige Reifung in überwiegend 500-Liter-Fässern aus französischer Eiche, die dem Wein weitere Dimensionen und ein besseres Mundgefühl verleihen. Vor der Abfüllung in Flaschen führt das Winzerteam eine Reihe von Verkostungen und Verschnitte durch, um sicherzustellen, dass die endgültige Zusammensetzung des Weins perfekt ausgewogen ist.
