The Boschendal Black Angus, part of the esteemed Boschendal Heritage Collection, is an award-winning red wine blend dominated by Shiraz. The wine greets the nose with inviting aromas of ripe cherries and black pepper, poising itself for a delightful tasting adventure. The palate is a rich tapestry of flavors, featuring a robust structure and notable opulence, with lingering notes of cherry and plum that lead to a smooth, enduring finish.
The grapes underwent hand harvesting and were meticulously sorted upon arrival at the winery. Each variety was vinified separately, and after malolactic fermentation, matured for 18 months in a combination of new and used 300-liter oak barrels. Post maturation, the Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet, and Malbec were blended and bottled. 61% Shiraz, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc

Sehr harmonischer schwerer Rotwein
Bei zahlreichen Besuchen auf dem Boschendal Weingut in Süd Africa, bei Kapstadt, habe ich mehrfach den hervorragenden Wein genossen. Als perfektes Souvenir habe ich mir mehrere Kisten vom 2018 Jahrgang mit nach Hause- nach Spanien genommen. Mit der Zeit wird er immer besser! Jetzt habe ich leider festgestellt, dass der Keller leer ist.... und habe hier Nachschub bestellt. Der Wein wurde innerhalb von drei Tagen tadellos nach Mallorca geliefert, war perfekt verpackt und alles lief reibungslos. Der 21er Jahrgang ist ebenfalls hervorragend und ist der richtige Wein zu einem gemütlichen Abend auf der Terrasse gepaart mit einer Cohiba Esplendido.
