The Boschendal Black Angus, part of the esteemed Boschendal Heritage Collection, is an award-winning red wine blend dominated by Shiraz. The wine greets the nose with inviting aromas of ripe cherries and black pepper, poising itself for a delightful tasting adventure. The palate is a rich tapestry of flavors, featuring a robust structure and notable opulence, with lingering notes of cherry and plum that lead to a smooth, enduring finish.
The grapes underwent hand harvesting and were meticulously sorted upon arrival at the winery. Each variety was vinified separately, and after malolactic fermentation, matured for 18 months in a combination of new and used 300-liter oak barrels.
