The Boschendal Black Angus, part of the esteemed Boschendal Heritage Collection, is an award-winning red wine blend dominated by Shiraz. The wine greets the nose with inviting aromas of ripe cherries and black pepper, poising itself for a delightful tasting adventure. The palate is a rich tapestry of flavors, featuring a robust structure and notable opulence, with lingering notes of cherry and plum that lead to a smooth, enduring finish.

Treatment in the cellar

The grapes underwent hand harvesting and were meticulously sorted upon arrival at the winery. Each variety was vinified separately, and after malolactic fermentation, matured for 18 months in a combination of new and used 300-liter oak barrels. Post maturation, the Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet, and Malbec were blended and bottled. 61% Shiraz, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc
