The Beyerskloof Chenin Blanc Pinotage offers an intriguing blend of 60% Chenin Blanc and 40% Pinotage, resulting in a refreshing and crisp summer wine. This vintage features a delicate golden hue with shimmering reflections, bringing forth a complex bouquet of tropical and citrus fruits. Aromas of passion fruit, pineapple, and lemon are complemented by subtle pear notes, inviting you to indulge. On the palate, the wine remains captivating, expressing the fruity characters detected in the nose alongside a fine mineral edge. Die Pinotage Trauben wurden bei einem relativ frühen Reifegrad gelesen, um so eine Fülle süßer, roter Beerenaromen zu erhalten. Nachdem die Trauben zerquetscht wurden, wurde der Saft sofort abgelassen und von der Haut getrennt, um so die spätere weiße Farbe des Weins zu erhalten. Der Saft gärte 20 Tage bei konstanten 11°C. Nach Abschluss der Gärung wurde ein vollmundigerer und besser strukturierter Chenin Blanc bezogen und dann mit dem Pinotage verschnitten.
