The Beeslaar Chardonnay 2023 impresses with aromatic notes of citrus and green apples, crafting an alluring bouquet. On the palate, ripe pineapple harmonizes elegantly with the wine's mineral core. Its delicate acidity is intricately woven into the wine’s balanced structure, culminating in a refreshing and pleasing finish thanks to its moderate alcohol content.
The 2023 season began with mild and dry conditions that crucially impacted both grape yield and quality. The limited berry mass due to this dryness fostered exceptional quality, enhancing the overall vintage.
Die Trauben wurden von Hand gelesen und am Bund gepresst. Nach 48 Stunden wurde der Saft zur Gärung in eine Kombination aus neuen französischen Eichenfässern, älterer französischer Eiche und Keramikamphoren zur Gärung gebracht. Für Komplexität reifte der Wein 12 Monate lang auf der Hefe in französischer Eiche (20% neue Fässer). Vor der Flaschenabfüllung reifte der Wein für 12 Monate auf der Hefe.
