Information about "Anthonij Rupert Van Lill Chenin Blanc 2025"
The Anthonij Rupert Van Lill Chenin Blanc from the "Cape of Good Hope" collection captivates with an alluring scent of stone fruits, featuring notes of pear drops, green melon, peach, and a whisper of white pepper. A creamy lees aging contributes dimension and structure, resulting in a wine marked by delightful juiciness and energetic freshness. It offers a well-balanced, lingering enjoyment with a clear, precise, and crisp finish. Complex yet beautifully approachable!
The grapes were transported in a cooling truck to the cellar, chilled overnight. The following day, they were hand-sorted and whole-bunch pressed, allowing the juice to settle overnight. The juice was then transferred into an old French oak barrel, where spontaneous fermentation occurred. The wine matured on the lees for seven months without malolactic fermentation before bottling.
