The Alvi’s Drift 221 Chenin Blanc reveals a radiant straw-yellow color that captivates. It offers an aromatic profile of jasmine and white peach, enriched with subtle touches of passion fruit. These lusciously inviting notes carry through on the palate, accented by a delicate hint of citrus blossom. Its lively acidity complements the wine’s fruitiness, culminating in a long, creamy finish that refreshes with vibrant citrus sensations.
This unique Chenin Blanc is crafted from the finest free-run juice. The blend consists of barrel-aged wine and fresh, crisp tank-fermented Chenin Blanc, with about 30% fermented on wild yeast and matured mainly in older French oak barrels, along with some new French acacia barrels to enhance complexity. The rest was fermented in stainless steel tanks, preserving the wine's vibrant fruit character.
