Treatment in the cellar
Handpicked Stellenbosch fruit was fermented in stainless steel with gentle pump-overs. Maceration follows before 14 months of ageing in French oak barrels (10% new). The élevage enhances tannin refinement and subtle spice. With no fining employed the Megan is a classic expression of Stellenbosch-inspired red winemaking.
