Vineyard Black Pearl Wines
Black Pearl wines are produced in the vineyard with the emphasis on limited production from high quality grapes. From the grape to the bottle, the whole family is involved in the production.
The name "Black Pearl" was inspired by the fact that the vineyard is located on the slopes of Paarl Mountain and the so-called ʺPaarl Rockʺ resembles a black pearl when it rains. Furthermore, black pearls have a high rarity value.
Mary-Lou Nash is co-owner, winemaker and winemaker on Black Pearl Wines. Every single one of her wines is unadulterated, full of taste and charm. The grapes for Black Pearl Wines are grown on Rhenosterkop Farm, which is located on the hills of Paarl Mountain. Of the 240 ha groβen total area under cultivation, 7.5 ha are dedicated to Black Pearl Vineyards. Black Pearls ʺThe Mischief Maker Shiraz Mourvedreʺ as well as ʺBlack Pearl Oroʺ, a fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz cuvée, have been awarded considerable prizes and recognitions.
