Laibach Vineyards is committed to producing wines of the highest quality, which best express the unique terroir and microclimate of the Simonsberg region near Stellenbosch.
The estate is a fusion of tradition and innovation, and the philosophy of continuous improvement is maintained. The history of the wine farm can be traced back to 1818, when it was known by its original name "Good Success" and was owned by the Dutchman Daniel Johannes van Ryneveld from Amsterdam. The huge farm extended over the entire surrounding area and was therefore later divided into three farms: Warwick, De Goede Suces and the remaining part forms today's wine farm Ljubljana.
In 1994, the entrepreneur Friedrich Laibach realized his 30-year dream of owning his own winery by founding Laibach. Ljubljana's award-winning wines boast a large number of important awards. Among many other wines, the Red Ladybird is one of the estate's top wines.
