The unique and rare location of Benguela Cove on the edge of the ocean on the south coast of South Africa produces wines of first-class quality and unmistakable character. The estate's vineyards have already proven their superb quality at a young age through a series of prizes and awards.

The winery is located a good hour's drive from Cape Town and just 10 km from the historic coastal town of Hermanus and enjoys a majestic view over the adjacent Botriver Lagoon. "Cool climate" vineyards in Walker Bay produce absolutely fantastic wines. The grape varieties that grow here on the 220 hectare farm of Benguela Cove are characterised by their proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the Botriver Lagoon. The maritime climate, with its cool sea breezes, prolongs the ripening process of the grapes, which has a very positive effect on the quality of the grapes and the resulting wines.
