The Whalehaven Pinotage displays a deep ruby core with a delicate violet edge, captivating with an inviting bouquet of dark plums and sour cherries harmoniously intertwined with a hint of herby Fynbos. The palate reveals lavish layers of dark chocolate fondant, tobacco, and subtle licorice notes. This Pinotage is characterized by its approachable nature and exceptional structure, showcasing delicious red fruit layers in the finish.
Nach fünf Tagen kalter Quellung auf der Haut fand der Gärungsprozess in Tanks aus Edelstahl bei Temperaturen zwischen 24°C – 30°C seinen Abschluss. Nach Beendigung der sechstägigen Fermentierung reifte der Wein 12 Monate lang in kleinen Fässern aus französischer sowie amerikanischer Eiche. Nach einer leichten Filterung wurde der Wein zum fertigen Genuss auf die Flasche gefüllt.
