Oenologist Lukas Van Loggerenberg is a true star in South Africa's wine heaven. His highly endowed and award-winning wines, produced in incredibly small quantities in a simple shed high up on Devon Valley hill in Stellenbosch, are not only distinguished by their remarkable depth, generosity, quality and finesse, but also by their creative naming. Van Loggerenberg's portfolio includes Trust your Gut Chenin Blanc, the Geronimo Cinsaut and the Break a Leg Blanc de Noir.

Originally from the Breedekloof wine valley, Lukas van Loggerenberg brings a great deal of passion and expertise to his work and sources the majority of his grapes from selected vineyards in Stellenbosch, with a smaller proportion of phenomenal grapes coming from Paarl and the Swartland.

Van Loggerenberg draws his inspiration from a very specific region of France that is close to his own heart - the Loire Valley. While he imitates certain characteristics of elegance and restraint of lines in his wines, he does not seek to create imitations of these wines, but rather to produce the best possible wines on South African soil with an individual touch. An undertaking that has brought him success.
