The Spier Frans K. Smit White shines in a delicate straw-yellow with vibrant green reflections, revealing an enchanting aroma of elderflower, blackcurrants, and citrus notes, accentuated by a subtle hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is remarkably balanced, delivering delightful flavors of fresh gooseberries, tropical passionfruit, and hints of green fig leaves. Die Sauvignon Blanc- und Semillon-Trauben wurden bei optimalem Reifegrad und exzellentem Säurelevel handgelesen. Nach dem Pressvorgang verblieb der ausschlieβlich freiablaufende Saft zunächst einen ganzen Tag auf der Haut. Die Fermentierung fand in einem groβen Wein-Foudre statt (80% Neuholz), wo der Wein nach Abschluss der Gärung anschlieβend 14 Monate auf der Hefe reifte.
