Haskell Vineyards is located on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Under the direction of cellar master Rianie Strydom, an award-winning portfolio is created here, which inc the Aeon Syrah, the Pillars Syrah, the Anvil Chardonnay as well as the Haskel II and Haskel IV.

The Helderberg area, also known as the "Golden Triangle", is famous for South Africa's premium and highly endowed wines and is home to many of the most famous and respected names in the South African wine world. Since its establishment in 2002, Haskell Vineyards has focused on producing top quality wines with a unique and distinctive style - authentic and true to the terroir with an unmistakable character of origin.

In the very first year of its founding, Haskell was awarded an incredible 5 stars by Platter's South African Wine Guide - one of the most coveted awards for South African wine. Haskell was also the first South African winery since the founding of the "Tri-Nations Challenge", which was awarded the prizes "Best Syrah", "Best Red Wine" and "Best Wine of Show" in the 2009 competition - a competition in which the finest and best wines of South Africa compete against the most highly endowed wines of Australia and New Zealand.

Under Haskell's philosophy and dedication to pure excellence, wines are only released if the highest quality standards and all expectations are met.

The world's greatest wines come from grapes grown in vineyards that are ideally suited to the grape varieties grown. The interaction of the vines with the most suitable soil, location, climate and growing conditions produces grapes of unique character - the foundation for terroir-specific wines.

Since Haskell Vineyards was founded, the main focus has been on maximizing vineyard potential. The 23 hectares of the estate are home to a wide variety of soil types and considerable differences in altitude between the various wine blocks provide a wide range of growing conditions. Through passionate dedication and experimentation, the team of winegrowers and oenologists on Haskell has been able to gather and develop a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the unique terroir.
