Beaumont Family Wines - Top Weingut in Südafrikas Bot River Region

After his studies in 2004, Sebastian Beaumont took over the reins of the winery and has contributed considerably to the great success of Beaumont wines to this day. The wines are offered in two ranges, Beaumont Range and Raoul's Range.

The farm, home to the oldest winery in the region, boasts a tradition that dates back to the 17th century.
Jayne and Raoul Beaumont acquired the historic Compagnes Drift Farm in 1974 and began replanting the vineyards. Twenty years later, after the revival and renovation of the winery, Jayne launched her first vintage of Beaumont Pinotage. Highly praised by critics, she had the courage to expand her wine range with the right amount of motivation.

With the farm now in the family for 40 years, Sebastian Beaumont and Marelise Jansen van Rensburg, together with the entire Beaumont team, are now using their years of experience to produce top quality wines in the excellent climate of the Bot River Valley. The vineyards thrive on ancient slate soils on a variety of different slopes, which produce excellent grapes and transfer a wonderful structure to the wine. With moderate summer temperatures, thanks to cooling sea breezes, a good and long ripening period of the grapes is guaranteed. The result is award-winning, wonderfully elegant wines!
